seeing red
for my sophomore year final, we were assigned to make a dress based on a woman we interviewed. her style icon is Jackie O and she is infatuated by pop art. i used these as my main sources of inspiration for the dress.
each ruffle was individually hand sewn onto the sleeve and then hand beaded with red rhinestones
after screen printing my design onto the dress, i used the back stitch embroidery technique to outline the image
